Guitar Scales in Every Key

Look up any scale in any key. Each page lists the notes and formula, shows the five positions as the Guitarion practice pad draws them, and maps every note from the nut to the 15th fret, with the chords that go with it.

Which scale to look up

If you're soloing over a song, find its key first, then start with that key's pentatonic: minor pentatonic for minor keys and blues, major pentatonic for bright major-key songs. The full major and natural minor scales add the two notes the pentatonic leaves out. The harmonic minor is for minor keys that use a major V chord.

The pages spell each key the way it's written in music, so the A♯ row shows B♭ major and B♭ minor, and C♯ shows D♭ major alongside C♯ minor.
